经过之前的一个小范围的调查，发现教育网和网通的线路似乎都很通畅。我听一位千里之外的教育网用户反映访问速度相当快。

我在国外访问，跟在国内速度相差无几。

我想你是不是用的是军线？好在你有proxy。欢迎李兄常去捧场！

怎么会呢？应该是域名服务器(DNS)的设置方面的问题。目前使用 IP 就可以访问。

我看了一下，DNS是自动获取的，不需要我做任何设置的。你们可能觉得不可思议，但我们这里就是上不去，换了几个电脑都上不去。

暑假时也是用网通死活上不去，而且打电话给网通分公司也是说从机房都上不了，我很郁闷。

应该不是你的DNS设置，可能是fleric.org网站的域名解析出现了故障。

Oh, thanks very much for your feedback. Having collated my bits and pieces of feedback from the forum visitors of diverse regions, many say that they can access the forum with no problem, which is apparently not the case in your city. As you have referred this problem to me for a couple of times, I should say that I am terribly sorry for that. At the moment, my reading of your problem is probably to do with the connection in your area.

One last note, I am now over 5,000 km away (actually I don't know how far I am away for sure), my connection to the site is a lot faster than I am visiting it at Beiwai, where my office was only 50 meters away from the server. Obviously I have got a surprisingly fast connection service here.

Yes. I remember that you said you could access the forum with a proxy, which means to me that an ISP based somewhere other than your city could work better. I don't know whether that explains some of your problem somehow.

BTW, if you couldn't connect to the site using the IP: http://202.204.128.82/forum/, then you definitely couldn't access it with the domain name. IP is the sole address of the server on the Net, which can bear different memorable domain names. The two are related and interchanged by the so-called DNS.

许老师，我觉得北外的论坛是够怪的，国内的IP有的不能访问，国外的倒是可以。我已经有段时间没去那看看了，国外的代理死得太快，挂代理、去掉代理都需要花些无谓的时间，所以也赖得费事了。
