Fillmore and Jurafsky are outstanding researchers in CL.

Well, they are not mentioned a lot in corpus linguistics literature. But Fillmore is certainly a theoretical pioneer in American corpus linguistics, in addition to his great contribution of case grammar, research in deixis among many others.
