Why can’t I process (concordancing, collocation extraction and ngram) unicodified Chinese text with MLCT? Can it be the problem with the system resources of my PC or otherwise? But it works well with English.

PS:

Multilingual corpus tool (MLCT)

Free multilingual corpus tool. Functionalities include concordancing, pre-processing corpus, and encoding converstion etc. Strongly recommended. See for yourself.

You must first of all select language and font (Arial MS Unicode or a Chinese font) before opening a Chinese text.

Yes, I did so. But MLCT is still on strike when it comes to Chinese texts.

Please make sure Arial MS Unicode font is installed on your system. Also Please let me know more details of the "strike", possibly posting a a screen dump.
