Thank you very much, Dr. Xu. i know some scholars in China have analyzed Chinese learners' "make " behavior, but i like to analyze the English majors' development in "make" behavior. If i have to sort them out by hand, it will be a tremendous task because i have got over 1400 target items.

It is easy to search noun phrases of all types by concordance search.
Altenberg and Granger in their 2001 paper did the search of delexical verb, production make and other meanings of make by hand in their sub-corpus.

One last reminder, Chinese learners' make behaviours have been analysed by some researchers.
