HyperPo is a freely available suite of online text analysis tools designed for generating word frequency, keyword in context (KWIC), distribution and collocation lists from electronic texts available online or held on the user's own computer. Texts may be plain ASCII, HTML, XML or SGML. The software also supports lemmatisation for French texts. The HyperPo website guides the user through the process of specifying a text (or corpus), its language and format; viewing statistics; dividing the text into sections; generating frequency indexes; viewing a KWIC concordance or collocation (co-occurence) of any given word; and accessing the full-text from any keyword. A default set of options for any function makes the software reasonably easy to use. Context-sensitive help is also available. The site makes extensive use of Javascript and frames. Hyperpo was first developed by Stéfan Sinclair (University of Alberta). The site is available in French or English.
