AntConc 3.2.2.1 released

AntConc 3.2.2.1 has now been released. It addresses the problems with version 3.2.2 that affected users in Japan, China, and Korea. The new version should work smoothly with all languages on Windows, Linux, and OS X computers.

I wondered if it would take you too much work to include a practical function in the new release that would allow the user to select part of corpus files for inclusion (something like "section to cut" / "section to keep" in WordSmith). Users could then use this feature to define which part of the corpus files to cut or keep (e.g. using XML elements) so as to exclude the corpus header in making a word list, or to compare the language of used by different speakers in a conversation, for example.

Hi Richard,
This is a feature that I have wanted to add for a long time. I was just too busy over the last few years to work on AntConc. But, I now have more time. I will look into it. By the way, even now, it is possible to delete the corpus header in the tag settings global preference.

I'm glad to hear that things are working better now. Please try the release candidate for version 3.2.3 (via the AntConc homepage), which has many other improvements.
